The vessel is part of Wagenborg's ongoing commitment to sustainability, achieving more than 60% savings in CO2 emissions compared to similar vessels in its class. As a result, the Alexia holds a Carbon Intensity Indicator (CII) A-rating, a top industry standard for energy efficiency, which measures emissions per cargo-carrying capacity and nautical mile.The Alexia is scheduled to undergo commissioning and sea trials in the coming weeks, with final delivery to Wagenborg expected by the end of Q3 2024.
