Solstad Offshore has placed an order for a new offshore vessel with YANTAI CIMC RAFFLES OFFSHORE LIMITED. The vessel, measuring 132.6 meters in length and 32 meters in width, will be powered by conventional fuel and classified by DNV. The order was confirmed on 22 Jun 2026, with delivery expected between 1 Jan 2028 and 31 Dec 2028. This vessel is part of a joint venture between Solstad Offshore and SBM Offshore, aiming to enhance their offshore capabilities. The newbuild will contribute to the fleet's operational capacity in offshore services upon delivery.
