Abu Dhabi-based ADNOC Logistics & Services (ADNOC L&S) has placed an order for four additional LNG carriers, each with a capacity of 175,000 cubic meters. The total value of the contract is approximately US$900 million (AED3.3 billion). The vessels will be built at Jiangnan Shipyard in Shanghai, China, with delivery expected in 2029. This order expands ADNOC L&S's fleet, supporting its role in LNG shipping and logistics. The newbuildings reflect ADNOC L&S's ongoing investment in maritime assets to enhance its energy shipping capabilities. Jiangnan Shipyard is a prominent shipbuilder known for constructing large-scale LNG carriers and other specialized vessels. This expansion aligns with ADNOC's broader strategy to strengthen its position in the global LNG market and improve its logistics infrastructure for energy transport.
