Bonny Gas Transport Limited (BGT), a subsidiary of Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG), has awarded contracts for three new liquefied natural gas (LNG) carriers to Chinese shipbuilders Hudong‑Zhonghua Shipbuilding Group and China Shipbuilding Trading Co. Ltd. The contracts mark a continued investment in expanding BGT's LNG shipping capacity. Hudong‑Zhonghua and China Shipbuilding Trading Co. Ltd. are prominent players in the shipbuilding industry, known for constructing specialized vessels including LNG carriers. This development aligns with Nigeria LNG Limited's strategy to enhance its LNG transportation infrastructure.
