Wan Hai Lines, a major container shipping company, has placed an order exceeding $550 million for six dual-fuel container vessels at CSSC shipyards. The deal is a significant move towards greener shipping, as the dual-fuel technology allows the vessels to run on both traditional and cleaner fuels. The new ships are expected to enhance Wan Hai Lines' fleet efficiency and environmental performance. The vessels will be constructed at China State Shipbuilding Corporation's (CSSC) shipyards, with deliveries scheduled to begin in 2026.
