On March 10, Wan Hai Lines revealed that it has placed orders for four LNG dual-fuel 6,000 TEU container vessels with Huangpu Wenchong Shipbuilding, at an average price of US$75.2 million to US$82.0 million per ship. The total contract value is between US$300 million and US$328 million. Additionally, Wan Hai Lines has ordered two methanol-ready 9,200 TEU container vessels from Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding, with each ship costing around US$102 million to US$112 million. The total value for this contract ranges from US$204 million to US$224 million.
