Square Port Shipyard , a subsidiary of Hazoor Multi Projects Limited (HMPL), has entered into a strategic partnership with the Netherlands-based Damen Technical Cooperation BV. The collaboration aims to enhance the shipyard's capabilities in developing and constructing ships for both domestic and international markets. Located in Dabhol, Maharashtra, Square Port Shipyard has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Damen, a group company under the Damen Shipyards Group NV, known for its expertise in ship design, construction, repair, and maintenance. This agreement is expected to propel the shipyard's growth and expand its service offerings. Fattesingh Patil, Director of Square Port Shipyard , highlighted that the partnership is a significant milestone in becoming a comprehensive service provider for shipbuilding and repair in India. The collaboration underscores HMPL's position not only in the energy sector but also in engineering, procurement, and construction services for road projects.
