Eastern Pacific Shipping Expands Wind Propulsion Partnership with bound4blue

The eSAIL® system, a fully autonomous Wind Assisted Propulsion System (WAPS), aims to enhance fuel efficiency and reduce emissions, aligning with global maritime sustainability goals.This initiative builds on EPS’s successful collaboration with bound4blue earlier this year. In February, three eSAIL® units were retrofitted on the Pacific Sentinel , a 50,000dwt vessel. The retrofitting project marked EPS’s first venture into deploying this cutting-edge technology.With this new installation, EPS underscores its commitment to leveraging innovative technologies to achieve a greener future in shipping.
