UZMAR SHIPBUILDING INDUSTRY AND TRADE INC. was founded in 1972 as Turkey's first private pilotage and towage company. The company expanded into shipbuilding in 1993, establishing a modern shipyard in Kocaeli in 2007. Today, UZMAR is a world-class shipbuilder, having delivered over 200 vessels to 25 countries across six continents, specializing in commercial and public maritime platforms, particularly tugboats.
