Seapeak LLC has placed an order for three dual-fuel LNG carriers with Samsung Heavy Industries Co Ltd at its Geoje shipyard. The vessels will each have a carrying capacity of 174,000 cubic meters. The contract was signed on 15 May 2026, with deliveries scheduled between January and May 2029. These newbuilds will be powered by dual-fuel LNG engines, aligning with industry trends toward cleaner fuel options.
