SAMSUNG HEAVY INDUSTRIES CO LTD has received an order from TMS CARDIFF GAS LTD for LNG carriers with a capacity of 174,000 cubic meters. The vessels will be dual-fuel LNG powered, reflecting the industry's shift towards cleaner energy sources. The contract was signed on 13 May 2026, with deliveries scheduled between 1 January and 30 June 2029. The ships will be constructed at Samsung's Geoje shipyard, a key facility for advanced LNG carrier production.
