Construction Begins on COSCO 80,000 DWT Grain Carrier

and 21 metres in depth. It is designed for flexible cargo operations, capable of transporting grain as well as hazardous containerised cargo such as new energy vehicles, lithium batteries, and energy storage units. The first ship in this series, Guoyunhai, has already entered service and launched a North Africa route, receiving positive feedback from the shipowner for its strong performance. This new build continues COSCO Shipping Development’s expansion in versatile cargo vessels.
