The container vessel MS “RIKE J” was officially christened today in Wilhelmshaven during a ceremonial event led by godmother Friederike Rolfs. With a capacity of 1,208 TEU, a length of 155 meters, and a width of 24.5 meters, the MS “RIKE J” is the first of 18 advanced ENVIRO-feeder ships, designed for enhanced fuel efficiency and reduced emissions. The project was initiated by ARKONA Allied Container (AAC) and involves collaboration from six shipping companies, including Jüngerhans, which will take delivery of three vessels in the series.
