John T. Essberger GmbH & Co KG has secured financing for the construction of two state-of-the-art chemical tankers, 'Ann-Mari Essberger' and 'Nofretete Essberger'. The vessels, which are scheduled for delivery in mid-2027, will join the E&S Tankers Pool and operate in the North and Baltic Seas. Both ships will feature innovative, methanol-capable engines compliant with IMO Tier III emission standards. The financing was arranged in partnership with Hamburg Commercial Bank, continuing a collaboration that spans over seventy years.
