Hengli Heavy Industries (HHI) has secured a significant newbuilding order from Eastern Pacific Shipping Pte. Ltd. (EPS), comprising 12 vessels across three types: six VLCCs, two LNG dual-fuel Suezmax tankers, and four 6,000 TEU container vessels. The contract, signed on November 27, reflects EPS’s confidence in Hengli’s shipbuilding expertise and highlights the shipyard’s growing presence in the global market. With this deal, Hengli’s 2025 orderbook is nearing 100 vessels, and the yard is now fully booked until 2029. This order underscores Hengli’s reputation for technical innovation and quality, as well as its ability to meet the demands of major international shipping companies.
