Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) has announced that it has secured a major order from a prominent European client to design and build six LNG-powered feeder container vessels, each with a capacity of about 1,700 TEUs. The shipyard confirmed in a regulatory filing that a letter of intent was signed on October 14, 2025, with a formal contract to follow. This Rs 2,000 crore deal marks a significant achievement for CSL, further strengthening its position in the international shipbuilding market.
