Korea Captures Significant Share of Global Ship Orders in September

While Chinese shipbuilders outpaced their Korean counterparts with 1.42 million CGT over 69 ships, Korean firms excelled with higher value-added ships, achieving 1.35 million CGT across 33 vessels. The robust performance highlighted Korea's production of larger ships with an average of 41,000 CGT per vessel, compared to China's 21,000 CGT.
