On June 13, 2024, shipbuilder VARD delivered the Commissioning Service Operation Vessel (CSOV) Windward Athens to Windward Offshore GmbH & Co. KG as scheduled. The vessel, also known as NB 963, highlights VARD's ability to

deliver complex ships for the offshore wind sector on time. The delivery involved contributions from several VARD facilities, including vessel design by Vard Design Ålesund, hull construction at Vard Shipyards Romania - Tulcea, and final commissioning at Vard Brattvaag. Additional equipment and systems were provided by Seaonics AS, Vard Electro, and Vard Interiors. This achievement underscores VARD's integrated value chain and commitment to high-quality, timely shipbuilding for the offshore industry.
