World’s Largest LNG Dual-Fuel Container Ship Delivered in Shanghai

on a single LNG voyage, achieving a reduction in CO₂ emissions by 20% while nearly eliminating sulfur oxides and particulate matter. This vessel is an upgrade from the earlier CMA CGM Jacques Saadé-class, offering greater loading capacity with an additional 764 TEUs. It also boasts reduced fuel and gas consumption while meeting IMO Tier III and the latest SOLAS regulations. Enhanced fire safety systems and a noise-reduction design for crew comfort underscore its advanced features. With the delivery of the CMA CGM SEINE, Hudong-Zhonghua has now completed 17 container ships for CMA CGM, with 12 being LNG dual-fuel powered.
