Three 350-ton cranes developed by ZPMC are fitted on each vessel, with two cranes able to combine for a lifting capacity of 700 tons. Four vessels are planned in the series, each incorporating green and energy-saving technology including a shaft generator paired with a battery pack system. This setup provides steady power supply, peak-shaving and valley-filling capability, and potential energy recovery, reducing fuel consumption and carbon emissions while supporting an improved Carbon Intensity Indicator (CII) rating. Upon delivery, the vessels will operate on international trunk routes for over-dimensional cargo, supporting global shipments of wind power equipment, large construction machinery and other heavy components.
