design was independently specified and jointly developed by Winning International Group to address global resource-transportation demands. Each vessel measures 329.99 metres in length, 60 metres in breadth and 30.5 metres in depth, with a deadweight tonnage of 325,000 tonnes. The ships meet the highest Tier III standard under the Energy Efficiency Design Index and are fitted with an independent 12,000-cubic-metre methanol fuel tank, separated from conventional oil-fuel tanks, positioning them for future use of green methanol and reduced life-cycle carbon emissions. Compared with conventional Capesize vessels, the WinningMax design is expected to cut energy consumption by nearly 50% per ton-nautical mile. The ship type has been classed and certified by both DNV and China Classification Society. The naming ceremony marks a milestone in the ongoing collaboration between Hengli Heavy Industry and Winning International Group on next-generation ore-carrier construction.
