Veritas Orders Two More Ultramaxes at COSCO Zhoushan

Its fleet page currently lists two recently delivered COSCO-built ultramaxes, one delivered in 2025 and another in 2026, reflecting the earlier order gradually being fulfilled. According to TrustedDocks orderbook data, the new order was reported on 22 Jan 2026 and covers two conventionally fuelled ultramax newbuildings. The latest order underscores continued appetite among Greek owners for mid-sized dry bulk newbuildings at Chinese yards, even as delivery slots stretch out to the end of the decade.
