Greek shipping company Sea World Management & Trading has increased its investment in tanker newbuilds by adding three more 50,000-dwt MR product tankers to its orderbook at South Korea’s K Shipbuilding. This brings the total number of MR tankers on order with the yard to five. The vessels will be conventional-fuelled and are scheduled for delivery between July 2027 and December 2028. Sea World Management & Trading is the tanker division of the J Laliotis Maritime Group. This expansion underscores the company’s ongoing commitment to the product tanker sector amid a competitive market. The newbuild investments have now surpassed $250 million, reflecting Sea World Management’s strategic focus on fleet renewal and growth.
