JGC Group and Partners Win Mozambique FLNG Contract

JGC France and Technip Energies will handle engineering, procurement, and project management of the topside facilities, while Samsung Heavy Industries will manage the hull construction and topside module fabrication. The lump-sum turnkey contract is valued below USD 5 billion, with JGC Group's share exceeding USD 1 billion. LNG production is expected to start in 2028. This project follows the Coral South FLNG development, marking the second FLNG venture in Mozambique involving these partners. The contract aligns with JGC Group's ongoing commitment to LNG infrastructure and the global energy transition.
