MTT Shipping Bakapit Sdn Bhd has placed an order for two new container ships with WUHU SHIPYARD CO LTD in China, valued at RM316 million. Each vessel will have a capacity of 3,300 TEU and will use conventional fuel. The ships are scheduled for delivery between 1 March and 30 June 2029. This investment reflects MTT Shipping's commitment to enhancing regional trade by increasing fleet capacity and operational efficiency. The order supports the company's strategic growth in the maritime industry and its efforts to improve connectivity in the region.
