PLEIADES SHIPPING AGENTS SA has placed an order for new conventional fuel tankers with CSSC GUANGZHOU LONGXUE SHIPBUILDING CO.,LTD. The contract, confirmed on 03 Jun 2026, covers vessels each with a deadweight tonnage of 50,000 DWT. Delivery of the tankers is scheduled to take place between 01 Jan 2029 and 31 Dec 2029. This order reflects ongoing demand in the tanker segment for mid-sized vessels. The newbuilds will contribute to the fleet capacity of PLEIADES SHIPPING AGENTS SA upon their delivery in 2029.
