Anglo Belgian Corporation (ABC) has received a repeat order from Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Ltd. (GRSE) for four 8-cylinder methanol-ready DZ engines. These engines are intended for Carsten Rehder’s new Coral 7500 multipurpose dry cargo vessels. This order follows the earlier delivery of eight engines, reinforcing the collaboration between Carsten Rehder Reederei, GRSE, and ABC. The Coral 7500 vessels are designed for flexible European short-sea operations and are equipped to run on (bio)diesel with readiness for methanol fuel. Each vessel will feature an 8DZ engine prepared for methanol operation, supporting future fuel transition. This continued partnership highlights the commitment to sustainable shipping solutions in the maritime industry.
