SAMSUNG HEAVY INDUSTRIES CO LTD has received an order from GLOBAL MERIDIAN HOLDINGS for tankers with a deadweight of 158,000. The vessels will be powered by conventional fuel. The contract was signed on 26 May 2026, with deliveries scheduled between 1 January and 31 March 2028. The order was publicly reported on 27 May 2026. This deal adds to Samsung Heavy's portfolio in the tanker segment, reinforcing its position in the conventional fuel vessel market.
