Zodiac Maritime Ltd has doubled its suezmax tanker orderbook to eight vessels, with newbuildings to be delivered in 2029. The London-based company placed a four-ship deal with JIANGSU NEW HANTONG SHIP HEAVY INDUSTRY, adding to its existing orders in the segment. Each tanker will have a deadweight of 157,000 DWT and use conventional fuel. The investment in this segment is expected to exceed $640 million. Zodiac Maritime's suezmax fleet expansion reflects its strategic focus on this tanker class, with deliveries scheduled from January to December 2029. This move significantly increases the company's presence in the suezmax tanker market.
