Erasmus Shipinvest BV has placed an order for six feeder container ships with TAIZHOU SANFU SHIP ENGINEERING CO.LTD. Each vessel will have a capacity of 2,400 TEU and will be powered by conventional fuel. The delivery of these newbuildings is scheduled between January 2028 and December 2029. This marks the third newbuilding contract secured by the Athens-based owner within a three-month period. The order reflects Erasmus Shipinvest's ongoing expansion in the container shipping sector. TAIZHOU SANFU SHIP ENGINEERING CO.LTD is responsible for the construction of the vessels, which will serve feeder trades upon delivery.
