**Ciner Orders Six Ultramax Bulk Carriers from Chinese Yard** Turkish conglomerate Ciner Shipping has placed an order for six ultramax bulk carriers at New Dayang Shipbuilding in China, extending its newbuilding program. The vessels, each costing approximately $34 million, are scheduled for phased
delivery between the fourth quarter of 2028 and the third quarter of 2029. The order was made under the leadership of Ciner Shipping CEO Vasileios Papakalodoukas. This latest acquisition adds to Ciner’s extensive newbuilding spree, which has seen the company order up to 40 ships over the past four years, with a total investment exceeding $1 billion. Ciner Shipping continues to expand its fleet to strengthen its position in the bulk carrier market. The new ultramax bulkers will support the company’s growth strategy in global shipping.
