TS Lines has announced a significant fleet expansion by ordering 2+2 units of next-generation 2,900 TEU Chittagongmax containerships at Fujian Mawei Shipbuilding, a subsidiary of Fujian Shipbuilding Industry Group. This marks a continuation of a strong partnership dating back to 2021, when TS Lines commissioned 14 vessels from the same yard. The new vessels feature advanced, energy-efficient designs tailored for South Asia and intra-Asia trades, supporting TS Lines’ growth strategy. With this order, TS Lines further cements its status as a major regional liner operator, while Mawei Shipyard continues to attract high-profile clients from around the world.
