Fujian Shipbuilding Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. was established in October 2014 and is located at No. 3 Culudao Avenue, Guantou Town, Lianjiang County, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province. It is a subsidiary of Fujian Shipbuilding Industry Group Co., Ltd. and a wholly-owned state-owned enterprise mainly engaged in the repair and construction of ships and marine engineering equipment, design and construction of steel structure engineering, and manufacturing of special marine engineering equipment. Its backbone enterprises include Fujian Mawei Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., Fujian Southeast Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., Fujian Funing Shipbuilding Heavy Industry Co., Ltd., Fujian Fuchuan Marine Engineering Technology Research Institute Co., Ltd., Fujian Minchuan Marine Ship Industry Development Co., Ltd., and Shipbuilding Overseas Development Co., Ltd., and have independently designed and built a variety of electric propulsion offshore engineering vessels, oil tankers, offshore wind power operation and maintenance service vessels, abalone farming platforms and other products.
