**SUMEC Marine and JME Sign Crown63 Bulk Carrier Order** SUMEC Marine and Greek shipowner JME signed a contract on 12 Nov 2025 via video link between Nanjing and Athens for the construction of one 3.0 version CROWN63 bulk carrier at New Dayang Shipbuilding. Under the agreement, New Dayang Shipbuilding will build a single CROWN63 bulk carrier, part of a series that has delivered 147 vessels and holds over 60 on order. The signing ceremony was attended by JME chairman Harilaos Hazapis and senior executives, alongside SUMEC Marine assistant general manager He Jun, SUMEC Marine chairman Xu Bin and relevant business staff. The newbuilding will be fitted to comply with current environmental regulations and classed by a leading classification society. Delivery timing was not disclosed.
