On November 8, Fincantieri and luxury cruise brand Crystal announced the confirmation of an order for a new high-end cruise vessel, following an option within the two-ship agreement publicized in June. This newbuild represents a significant investment, with financing and certain contractual terms still to be finalized.

The new cruise ship will mirror the specifications of its sister ships, with a gross tonnage of 61,800 tons and accommodations for around 690 guests. Renowned architectural firms are designing the interiors to emphasize premium materials and expert craftsmanship. The vessel will feature all-suite accommodations, including private verandas, and introduce single-occupancy suites for solo travelers, further enhancing Crystal’s offerings. Additionally, a high crew-to-passenger ratio will ensure that each guest receives attentive, personalized service.
