CMB.TECH announced that its chemical tanker division, Bochem, has secured a significant long-term charter for one of its upcoming newbuild vessels. The 26,000 dwt chemical tanker, currently under construction at the China Merchants Jinling Dingheng Shipyard, is scheduled for delivery in October 2025 and has been chartered by Chilean shipping company Ultratank on a seven-year agreement.

Upon completion, the vessel will be put into service immediately, providing Ultratank with reliable, long-term shipping capabilities in the chemical transport sector. This arrangement highlights CMB.TECH’s strategic expansion within the industry and reflects growing demand for advanced chemical tankers. Additionally, a sister vessel, also under construction, is set for delivery around the same period, underscoring CMB.TECH’s commitment to meeting market needs with a modern, efficient fleet.
