PaxOcean Group has secured a newbuilding contract with a prominent Greek shipowner, marking a significant development in maritime collaboration. Announced on September 11, 2024, the agreement entails the construction of up to ten cutting-edge Multi-Purpose Service Vessels (MPSVs). These vessels, with a deadweight capacity of 5,000 tons and equipped with DP2 dynamic positioning technology, will incorporate advanced offshore vessel innovations to enhance operational efficiency.

The vessels are set to be built at PaxOcean’s Zhoushan yard in China, with the first deliveries scheduled for the third quarter of 2026. Norwegian design firm Salt Ship Design will provide the blueprint for these vessels, ensuring modern aesthetics and exceptional fuel efficiency. This partnership underscores PaxOcean's commitment to delivering high-performance vessels while contributing to sustainable and energy-efficient maritime operations.
