Sallaum Lines Orders Two 8,600 CEU Dual-Fuel PCTCs

Co., Ltd., expanding Sallaum Lines’ newbuilding program to nine vessels valued above USD 850 million. The fleet renewal includes four vessels already delivered, two more due in 2026, and three slated for 2029. The new vessels are designed for flexibility, capable of carrying passenger cars, trucks, heavy equipment, and project cargo across global trade routes. The global PCTC market remains specialized, with high-capacity vessels increasingly important to meet automotive manufacturers' demands for reliability, capacity, and lower emissions. Sallaum Lines’ investment in LNG dual-fuel and ammonia-ready ships positions it to meet evolving environmental regulations and market needs.
