Industrial Handling Pvt. Ltd. (IHPL) has awarded a contract for the construction of a 60-ton bollard pull Green Tug Transition Programme (GTTP) tug to Shoft Shipyard Pvt. Ltd., in collaboration with Marine Electricals (India) Limited. The contract exchange was attended by key representatives including Shri Ranjan Nandi, CMD of IHPL; Shri Sahay Raj, MD of Shoft Shipyard; and Shri Vinay Uchil, Director of Marine Electricals. This partnership supports the GTTP initiative, which aims to promote sustainable and innovative marine solutions for India's ports. The new tug will be designed and built to align with green maritime objectives, showcasing advancements in Indian shipbuilding and engineering capabilities.
