POLARIS SHIPPING CO LTD has placed an order for 210,000 DWT bulk carriers with Hengli Heavy Industries (Dalian) Co. Ltd. The vessels, powered by conventional fuel, are scheduled for delivery throughout 2028. The order was reported on 07 Jul 2026 and is linked to a time charter contract with Vale. Hengli Heavy Industries will build the ships at its Dalian yard. These large bulk carriers are expected to support Vale's shipping operations under the charter agreement.
