Yangfan Group Co., Ltd. and Yangzhou Guoyu Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. signed a contract on 2 Jul 2026 to jointly build two 5,700 CEU eco-friendly intelligent Pure Car and Truck Carriers (PCTCs). The vessels will measure 190.00 meters in length, 35.60 meters in breadth, and have a structural draft of 9.50 meters, with a deadweight tonnage of 13,500 tons. Each ship will feature 11 vehicle decks, including three liftable decks, providing a total deck area of 48,200 square meters and a rated loading capacity of 5,700 standard vehicles. They will be powered by Everllence B&W 6S50ME-C10.7-DI-EcoEGR main engines delivering 11,400 kW and offering a cruising range of up to 12,900 nautical miles. The vessels comply with NOx Tier III emission standards, supporting the low-carbon transition in global ro-ro shipping.
