PAN OCEAN CO LTD has placed an order for new tankers with CMI Qingdao Shipyard. The vessels will have a deadweight tonnage of 319,000 and will be powered by conventional fuel with ammonia-ready capabilities. Delivery of the tankers is scheduled between 1 January and 31 December 2030. This order reflects ongoing industry efforts to incorporate alternative fuels to reduce emissions. The ammonia-ready design allows for future fuel flexibility as maritime regulations evolve. The contract was reported on 6 July 2026.
