U-Ming Marine International Ship Management has secured an order for four 211,000 DWT bulk carriers from Jiangsu HANTONG SHIP HEAVY INDUSTRY CO., LTD. The contract includes two firm vessels and two options, with prices ranging from US$77 million to US$80 million per unit, totaling between US$308 million and US$320 million if options are exercised. The vessels will be conventional fuel-powered and fitted with scrubbers. Delivery is scheduled for 2030. The transaction was approved on 23 Jun 2026 and follows U-Ming's strategy to renew its fleet and expand its shipping operations. The deal was concluded through a competitive pricing and negotiation process, with payments made in installments according to the contract.
