CMI Weihai Shipyard, part of China Merchants Group, hosted the naming ceremony for the PCC Kilimanjaro and PCC Patagonia this week. These vessels represent the final deliveries in their series and the first under the new car carrier brand, Pinnacle Car Carriers AS. The event highlighted the yard's commitment to high shipbuilding standards and quality. The ceremony also celebrated the ongoing collaboration with joint venture partner Solvang ASA and technical managers Reederei F. Laeisz GmbH. Charterers of PCC Kilimanjaro were present, emphasizing their long-term commitment to the vessel. Two godmothers performed the traditional blessing, wishing the ships safe voyages and successful operations. This event marks a significant milestone in the partnership and the launch of the new brand.
