PINGTAN MINGHUI SHIPPING has placed an order for new tankers with Taizhou Jianxing HI on 8 Jun 2026. The vessels are conventional fuel tankers with a deadweight tonnage of 114,000 DWT, a length of 248.8 meters, and a draught of 13.5 meters. Delivery of the ships is scheduled between 1 Apr 2028 and 31 Dec 2028. This order reflects ongoing demand for large conventional tankers in the shipping industry. The newbuilds will expand PINGTAN MINGHUI SHIPPING's fleet capacity upon delivery.
