BGN International DMCC has signed a contract with HD HYUNDAI HEAVY INDUSTRIES - GUNSAN SHIPYARD for the construction of two dual-fuel Very Large Gas Carriers (VLGCs). Each vessel will have a cargo capacity of 93,000 cubic meters and will be capable of operating on both conventional fuels and ammonia, supporting maritime decarbonisation efforts. The vessels are scheduled for delivery in 2029. This order increases BGN's owned LPG VLGC fleet to 19 vessels, following a recent order for four additional dual-fuel VLGCs. BGN continues to invest in modern shipping assets to meet growing global energy demand and strengthen supply chains within the LPG shipping sector.
