DHT Holdings, Inc. has signed an agreement with Hanwha Ocean Co., Ltd. for the construction of a Very Large Crude Carrier (VLCC) scheduled for delivery in August 2028. The new tanker, a sister vessel to two delivered earlier in 2026, will be built at HANWHA OCEAN - (Okpo) Geoje Shipyard with a deadweight of 300,000 DWT and powered by conventional fuel. The vessel will feature advanced fuel economics, reduced emissions, and a large carrying capacity, aligning with DHT's strategy to maintain an efficient and high-quality fleet. The project will be financed through cash flow from operations, available liquidity, and projected mortgage debt. DHT operates an international fleet of crude oil tankers and focuses on disciplined capital allocation and long-term shareholder value.
