ERASMUS SHIPINVEST BV has placed an order for conventional fuel container ships with a capacity of 1,900 TEU at CSSC Guangzhou (Huangpu) Wenchong Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. (HPWS). The order was confirmed on 3 June 2026, with deliveries scheduled between 1 January 2028 and 31 December 2029. This contract adds to HPWS's portfolio of container ship construction, reinforcing its position in the conventional fuel vessel market. The newbuilds will support ERASMUS SHIPINVEST's fleet expansion plans in the coming years.
