Hanwha Ocean Lays Keel for Singapore's First FSRU

LNG import terminal at Jurong Port. MOL will own, manage, and operate the unit under a long-term charter agreement with Singapore LNG Corporation (SLNG). The vessel is expected to be delivered in 2027. This project marks a significant development in LNG infrastructure in Asia, introducing new operational and technical challenges distinct from traditional LNG carriers. The FSRU will enable continuous regasification and increased cargo operations, supporting Singapore’s growing energy needs.
