WAH KWONG MARITIME TRANSPORT has placed an order for new tankers with Dalian Shipbuilding Industry Co Ltd (CSSC DSIC). The contract, confirmed on 28 May 2026, covers tankers with a deadweight of 114,000 DWT. These vessels will be conventional fuel-powered and equipped with scrubbers to meet environmental regulations. Delivery of the ships is scheduled between 1 January and 31 December 2029. This order reflects ongoing investment in mid-sized tanker capacity by WAH KWONG MARITIME TRANSPORT. CSSC DSIC continues to be a key shipbuilder for tanker projects in the region.
